The New Dada
The new Dada is strange at first sight. Unreadable. Not interpretable. A wild stringing together of letters to supposed letter combinations and words.
On the other hand, the deceleration is also evident in the abstract lyricism. It is not possible to pronounce the words at the same speed as normal words. Abstract poetry also decelerates, because when reading there is no higher, faster, further. No. It is simply deceleration that counts and the confrontation with the here and now. With the letters, the emphasis and the way the speech melody spreads.
After all, how does one and the same abstract poem differ in pronunciation? Or in another language? Or with a slower or faster pace of speech? There is no right, no wrong.
Abstract poetry shows us that poetry does not stand still. It is constantly evolving and spreading. It is also noticeable that language is not a fixed thing. Language lives, language breathes.
